The Girl Rider ® concept all started from a keen interest in sport – whether it was snow skiing, horse riding , or windsurfing, but motorbikes became the real passion. From a personal experience I found it hard to find something that looked smart as well as fashionable to wear whilst out riding or just simply hanging with friends.
GirlRider®’s mission is to provide high quality clothing and accessories with original imagery for women and girls who embody the California athletic lifestyle, and to use a portion of our proceeds to help protect our environment and give back to our community. Take a look at our new Spring 08 clothing line or our look book to see our latest designs.
Conceived in Tahoe and Baja, GirlRider® apparel and accessories are designed exclusively for women. Our focus is on specialty items that fit and function better, according to the needs of athletic girls and women. For more information about us download the Girlrider® press kit or check out Nick Myerhoff's blog.
It is our intention to build one of the most progressive, socially responsible companies in the business. We are continually striving for creative ways to give back and preserve the environment as we grow.

As a woman motorcyclist, I would always be on the lookout for some cute t-shirts that express my motorcycling enthusiasm. But alas, I would only find boring, or not-girly-enough t-shirts. The problem might be that men are designing t-shirts for women and applying the same principles they use when designing for men. Well that just doesn’t work. So here is my attempt to make tees (and hopefully other apparel) that is pleasing to my fellow female motorcycle riders.
I was recently approached by good friends and clients suggesting the following idea. They said, “Jen, why don’t you do a personal bio on who you are, where you come from, and where you are going for your One Bad Bitch supporters? You know, give ‘em the good stories.” After all, that’s what One Bad Bitch was, and still is about, the stories that inspired me, the clients that continue to motivate me, and the female riders that I am truly passionate about. I live, breathe and love what I do. Now I sit reflecting on the past and what would I constitute as the good stories anyway. Before I begin, I would like to thank my fans for this brilliant idea.
